Elder Scrolls Online The Confrontation by john cheng

Elder Scrolls' trailers are always so epic. If I still had the time, money and patience to play games, I totally would be playing this.

Beginning June 9th, you can join your friends on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 to play The Elder Scrolls Online - Tamriel Unlimited... with no game subscription fees! Tamriel Unlimited is arriving on PC/Mac, too - beginning on Tuesday, March 17th. To celebrate the announcement, we've released The Confrontation, the final chapter in our thrilling series of cinematic trailers.

There is also this epic 23 minute supercut of the trailer. I can't even begin to imagine the blood, sweat and tears that went into making this game.

In The Elder Scrolls Online, three alliances struggle for control of the Ruby Throne and Tamriel itself. The chaos of war engulfs the Imperial province of Cyrodiil, and sinister forces from Oblivion seek to take advantage of the Empire's instability, hatching a scheme to enslave all mortal souls.

Tsum Tsum by john cheng

I couldn't help myself. I had to have Stitch.

Tsum Tsum is a Japanese Line game that recently made it over to the US along with the actual stuffed plushies. The game is very simple to play and very addictive, except collecting all the Tsum Tsum's in the game seems almost impossible to me unless you fork over some cash money... All I really wanted was Stitch, so I settled for getting one in real life.

If you have Line, love Disney characters and have time to kill, maybe download this app and have some stacking fun. Did I mention their opening sequence is amazing as well?

Tsum Tsum stackable plush come in your favorite Disney characters and are on mobile too! Connect and pop your favorite Tsums in this all new puzzle game, published by LINE. Monument Valley by john cheng

Monument Valley is beautifully rendered video game by developer ustwo, available on iOS with an Android version coming soon, that was inspired by M.C. Escher, Japanese woodblock prints, and architecture.  Watch more below on their process and the thinking behind Monument Valley.

I downloaded it last night, and be warned, this game is extremely addicting. I had to force myself to put it down. Not only is it a great puzzle game, my favorite type of game, but it is just so beautifully rendered. Thank you ustwo for creating this beautiful game for us all to enjoy!

Flappy Doge...Yes, Doge by john cheng

Are you going through withdrawals because you deleted Flappy Bird from your phone due to how badly it has ruined your life? Well never fear, Flappy Doge is here! Its a copy of Flappy Bird, well not an exact copy, the physics are completely different, but the Shiba Inu sprite is pretty fun to look at.

BTW, my high score on Flappy Bird is only 27....why Flappy Bird WHYYYYYY?!?!

Kendama + Pokemon! by john cheng

Stephanie Chow, a good friend of mine who made fun video game prints with me in the past, has a new side project! Kendama + Pokemon goodness! If you want one for yourself, go to her etsy shop!

A kendama (けん玉 ?, also written as 剣玉 and 拳玉) is a traditional Japanese toy which consists of three wooden cups of different sizes placed on the center of a wooden spike, with a smaller cup at the spike's base and a ball connected by a string to the center piece. In English, kendama may be referred to as ring and pin and bears similarities to the classic cup-and-ball game, similar to the Latin American world toy known as balero. The principle of these toys are the same: catching one object with another, where both are joined by a string.

Fiona Apple Sings "Pure Imagination" by john cheng

Fiona Apple sings "Pure Imagination" from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. I loved Charlie and the Chocolate factory when I was growing up and this song brings back a lot of memories. This rendition, however, takes it to a completely different place.

It is an ad for the game that Chipotle has made available for download and has a lot of social commentary about the overly processed foods and mistreatment of livestock that our food industries and full with.

At the end of the day it is still an ad from Chipotle trying to convince us of how sustainable their practices are and how much better their product is compared to others. I cant speak much to the validity of their claim, but as an ad, well done Chipotle, well done.

Watch "The Scarecrow," the companion film for Chipotle's new app-based game. Then download the free app at and join the quest for wholesome, sustainable food. The song "Pure Imagination" performed by Grammy Award®--winning artist Fiona Apple, is available for download on iTunes.
