Do you know where and how the t-shirt you wear comes into existence? NPR has made a great mini-site peppered with infographics and insightful videos on how t-shirts move around the world.

It really makes you think more about what you are buying and how to appreciate the simple t-shirt a bit more than just a piece of cloth that you wear once and throw away because the design is out of date.

There is no right or wrong in this scenario, it just is, but the goal is to find better solutions or processes that can better these systems that have already been in play for decades. There is no way to replace these systems, only ways to improve them gradually and it can only happen when it starts with one person, just like how these shirts start with the person who grows the cotton.
